  • Schedule: Day/Eve coverage; 4x10s or 5x8s available, with occasional night-shift coverage and weekend availability as needed
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,900-$2,040
  • Floating: Main unit to ER, with possible coverage in portables, OR, and ICU
  • Call: Possible

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist or sonographer experience
  • At least 6 months of pediatric ultrasound experience required
  • Experience in a children's hospital or pediatric imaging setting strongly preferred
  • Experience with vascular procedures and ultrasound procedures required
  • Experience with portables, inpatient imaging, ER, PICU, NICU, and neonatal ultrasound required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • RDMS-AB required; additional ARDMS specialties such as FE and PS, and RVT-related credentials are highly valued
  • Washington state license or compact license accepted; candidates without a Washington license must be willing to apply upon offer
  • Epic experience preferred
  • COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only
  • Available for holiday coverage when needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality pediatric ultrasound exams for neonates, infants, and children
  • Support both general pediatric imaging and vascular lab procedures
  • Complete exams in a variety of care areas, including ER, ICU, PICU, NICU, and portable settings
  • Provide imaging support for diverse pediatric and vascular cases such as DVTs, post-PICC line studies, IJ assessments, peripheral vascular scans, and abdominal presentations
  • Use strong clinical judgment to adapt to a busy, child-focused healthcare environment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic imaging
  • Maintain a patient-centered approach while delivering compassionate care to pediatric populations
  • Remain flexible for schedule adjustments, including weekends, holidays, and occasional night coverage
