Travel ICU Registered Nurse Job in Cleveland, Ohio | Surgical ICU
Experienced ICU RN needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Cleveland, OH. Join a high-acuity Surgical ICU team and provide expert critical care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770

- Orientation: Includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments
- Holiday Requirement: Must work at least every other holiday
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in critical care or the specialty
- Minimum of 18 months recent SICU experience; travel nursing experience may count toward this requirement
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience working successfully in a high-acuity ICU or surgical critical care setting
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores
- One qualifying reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
- Must be able to commit to 3x12 day shifts and holiday coverage expectations
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based care as a Registered Nurse in the ICU
- Monitor critically ill patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate effectively during shift handoff
- Support a team-based culture focused on patient safety, quality outcomes, and clinical excellence
- Adapt to a fast-paced Surgical ICU environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
