- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,530 - $1,610
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 8, 2026
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Coverage: Half of the contract weekends
- Patient Ratio: 2:1
- Charting System: Epic
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submittal
- 2 years of Neuro ICU experience preferred
- Neuro experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with Epic preferred
- Strong critical care background and comfort caring for adult neuro patients
- Ability to float to ICU, IMC, and Tele as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for adult Neuro ICU patients
- Monitor and assess patients with neurological and critical care needs
- Administer medications, manage lines and drips, and support ventilated patients
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
- Support specialized neuro critical care interventions and procedures as needed
- Float to ICU, IMC, or Tele units when required based on patient care needs
