Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCRN and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality care to adult ICU patients with complex medical and surgical needs
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans and critical care protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record
- Maintain a professional, compassionate presence while supporting patients and families during critical care situations
