- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Schedule: Every third weekend; includes one summer, one winter, and one off holiday
ICU RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (ICU specialty preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass all onboarding health and competency screenings (drug screen, immunizations, and specialty-specific competency testing)
- Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU patients with a variety of complex medical conditions
- Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using clinical judgment
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic ICU environment in accordance with hospital policies and critical care protocols
- Participate in unit meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives to support best practices in critical care nursing
