- Clinical Support: In-house hospitalist, tele/monitor technicians, and respiratory therapy support

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Minnesota
- At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical-care nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS and TNCC certifications
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex patients and respond effectively to changes in condition
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and scheduled holidays
- Ability to float to medical-surgical assignments as needed
Travel ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 5-bed intensive care unit
- Monitor, assess, and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
- Care for patients with stroke, STEMI, non-STEMI, and other acute conditions
- Safely administer and titrate critical-care therapies, including Cardizem, insulin, propofol, Versed, and vasopressors, according to orders and facility protocols
- Care for mechanically ventilated patients using Hamilton-C1 ventilators
- Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacy staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Provide safe handoff communication and contribute to continuity of care across shifts
- Float to medical-surgical areas when assigned and support unit operations during weekends and holidays
