Job Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with basic ICU equipment and critical care drips preferred
- Comfort working night shifts in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Ability to float to the ED or Med/Surg when experienced and needed
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Manage ventilated patients, post-cath patients, sepsis, ARDS, DKA, CVA, and other critical diagnoses
- Administer and titrate critical care medications and drips per protocol
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s charting system
- Support a safe, patient-centered environment while working collaboratively with the care team
