Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ICU nursing experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Preferred: 2 years of recent intensive care unit nursing experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field
  • Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • Preferred: CCRN certification
  • Preferred: Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent critical care experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to care plans and clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
  • Support safe, evidence-based nursing practices in a fast-paced critical care environment
  • Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients and families
