Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ICU nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: 2 years of recent intensive care unit nursing experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field
- Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Preferred: CCRN certification
- Preferred: Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent critical care experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to care plans and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Support safe, evidence-based nursing practices in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients and families
