Job Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience required (hospital or clinical lab experience preferred)
- Proven venipuncture skills and specimen collection accuracy
- Ability to start immediately is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced inpatient hospital setting and collaborating with nursing and lab staff
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for inpatient populations following hospital and lab protocols
- Ensure accurate labeling, handling, and transport of diagnostic samples to the clinical laboratory
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment consistent with infection control standards
- Provide professional and compassionate communication with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare staff
- Adhere to hospital policies, chain-of-custody procedures, and quality assurance protocols
