Join an established inpatient cardiology team as a locum tenens Interventional Cardiologist in Paducah, KY. Provide adult cardiology and EMTALA call coverage in a hospital-based setting with no ambulatory clinic responsibilities. - Coverage Schedule: 12-hour day shifts within 24-hour on-call periods from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.; approximately 3-7 coverage days per month
- Scheduled Coverage Dates: November 23-26, December 1-4, and December 29-January 1

Interventional Cardiologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant interventional cardiology experience
- Board certification in cardiology or interventional cardiology
- Active Kentucky medical license; physicians with an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) pathway may be considered
- Active DEA registration
- Current ACLS certification
- Availability for the listed coverage dates must be confirmed during the submission process
- COVID-19 vaccination preferred
Interventional Cardiology Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage and respond to cardiology calls throughout the hospital
- Perform balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), cardiac catheterization, and coronary angiography
- Provide general cardiology consultations as needed
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and nuclear stress studies
- Evaluate and manage adult patients requiring urgent or emergent cardiology care
- Collaborate with the onsite cardiology team to support timely, high-quality patient care
