Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, patient-centered healthcare environment
- Knowledge of maternal health, patient education, safety protocols, and perioperative support principles
- Physical ability to meet the demands of a clinical nursing role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients throughout the continuum of care
- Perform thorough maternal assessments and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support patient education and family engagement before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with nursing standards and unit protocols
- Follow patient safety guidelines, infection prevention practices, and labor and delivery nursing procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to promote excellent outcomes
- Deliver compassionate, professional care in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital setting
