Job Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or compact RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience or related acute care experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in Labor & Delivery
- Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members to support safe outcomes
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Provide direct bedside nursing care in accordance with professional standards and unit policies
- Direct and support nursing staff as needed to help ensure quality patient care
- Document care accurately and maintain a high standard of clinical practice
