Travel Nursing Job Details

- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030–$3,190

Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery nursing experience within the past 3 years
- One year of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- High-risk obstetric nursing experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Maternal-child health experience or preparation preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Care for patients experiencing high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetric conditions
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor maternal and fetal status, and promptly report changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, anesthesia professionals, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and provider orders
- Support emergency response, obstetric procedures, and neonatal stabilization as clinically indicated
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote adherence to patient-safety and quality standards
