  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 - $1,420

  • Contract Duration: 14 weeks (Start: 4/27/2026 – End: 8/3/2026)
  • Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
  • Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel LPN / Travel nursing)
  • Orientation: 16 hours (Tuesday–Friday, day shift)
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
  • Holiday Coverage: Must work every other holiday

LPN Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in an acute, LTAC, or long-term care setting
  • Valid Maryland LPN license or Compact LPN license required at time of submission
  • BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • Previous travel nursing / travel LPN experience required
  • Experience with Cerner electronic charting system preferred
  • Professional references required
  • Ability and willingness to float across multiple hospital units
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality; zero tolerance for unexcused absences

Primary Responsibilities (LTAC / Ventilator Care)

  • Float between subacute rehab, long-term care/memory care households, pulmonary care, and ventilator units
  • Provide patient-centered nursing care tailored to individual routines, preferences, and needs
  • Monitor and manage patients with complex medical needs: post-op, post-stroke, cardiac, wound care, diabetes, dementia, respiratory conditions
  • Perform tracheostomy and ventilator care, wound care, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and daily ADLs for adult and geriatric patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, and Social Services
  • Adhere to facility policies, time and attendance expectations, and participate in orientation and annual training modules
