Job Details (Travel CNA – Juneau, AK)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1320–$1420
- Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing (LTC/SNF)
- Location: Juneau, AK 99801
- Start Date: 03/09/2026
- Assignment End Date: 06/08/2026
- Duration: 13-week travel assignment
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts (variable; not scheduled to flip back-to-back)
- Weekends: Required on a rotating basis
- On-Call: None
- Charting System: MatrixCare
- Dress Code: Scrubs
Job Requirements (CNA Qualifications)
- Experience: Experience in LTC/SNF is a plus
- License: Active Alaska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (in accordance with Alaska state law)
- Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Credential: Current Alaska Food Workers Card (maintained throughout assignment)
- Clinical Skills: Safe patient handling, transfers, repositioning, and mobility assistance (walkers/canes/wheelchairs/lifts)
- Communication: Proficient spoken English for accurate resident communication and clinical support
- Technology: MatrixCare charting experience preferred
Responsibilities (Long-Term Care CNA)
- Provide supportive personal care to residents in alignment with individualized care plans
- Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and safe transfers (bed, wheelchair, bath, lifts, walkers/canes)
- Deliver basic nursing care under the direct supervision of a licensed RN, consistent with assessments and treatment plans
- Promote resident comfort, dignity, and engagement through meaningful activities and person-to-person social interaction
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized resident environment
- Document care accurately and on time using MatrixCare
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Float to other areas as needed to provide additional support while maintaining quality standards
- Follow applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies, including CMS standards

- Onboarding and orientation will be provided per facility process
