Job Requirements
- Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting (LTC nursing experience preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced long-term care environment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a skilled nursing facility
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies and LTC best practices
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe medication administration
- Monitor and document residents' health status, changes, and progress in residents' charts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (nursing, therapy, social services) to ensure comprehensive care
- Support residents' comfort, dignity, and overall well-being through compassionate care
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in residents' conditions during night shift coverage
