Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,020 - $1,070 (Travel LPN pay)
- Location: Camden, ME — scenic coastal community; Maine nursing jobs; easy access to outdoor recreation and historic downtown
- Assignment Duration: 14 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour Nights (18:45 – 07:15) — travel nurse / travel LPN night shift
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel
- Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
Qualifications / Job Requirements
- Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in Maine, or active compact state LPN license where applicable
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing, or similar senior care setting
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
- Experience with medication administration, resident assessments, documentation / EHR charting, and care planning
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility policies
- Monitor, assess, and document resident health status and progress in the medical record
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident comfort, safety, and dignity
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (RNs, CNAs, therapists, social services) to ensure high-quality care
- Follow infection control procedures, facility protocols, and regulatory requirements for LTC settings
