Travel LPN Job Details

- Healthcare Setting: Outpatient GI oncology clinic
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8-hour days

Licensed Practical Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida
- At least 1 year of nursing experience; outpatient clinic or physician-office experience is preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume outpatient setting
- Excellent communication and patient-service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative oncology care team
Outpatient Oncology LPN Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical and administrative support to the physician and outpatient GI oncology care team
- Manage prescription requests, medication refills, and prescription authorization processes
- Relay test and procedure results to patients under established clinical protocols
- Assist with stat add-on procedures and other time-sensitive outpatient clinic needs
- Coordinate patient communication and help ensure timely follow-up throughout the care process
- Support colleagues as needed while maintaining efficient clinic operations
- Deliver professional, compassionate nursing care to patients and families
