Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active LPN license in the state of Maine (required)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care / skilled nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts (12.5-hour nights)
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-focused care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document medication administration
- Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, and progress notes
- Collaborate with nursing staff, CNAs, social workers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support overall well-being
- Maintain accurate records, follow facility policies, and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
