Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent Med-Surg nursing experience required
- Experience in adult medical-surgical patient care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently on night shift
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit flow
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills
- Must be able to follow clinical documentation and unit procedures carefully
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to adult Med-Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and report concerns promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Complete accurate and timely charting and patient documentation
- Support patient education and discharge planning as needed
- Maintain a professional, organized approach while working 12-hour night shifts
- Contribute to a positive unit culture and deliver reliable care during weekends and holidays as scheduled
