• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 – $1,650
• Location: Thomasville, GA 31792 (Thomasville, Georgia; southwest Georgia travel nursing)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
• Unit: 7 North – Oncology Floor (Medical-Surgical / Oncology RN)
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:00); block scheduling considered
• Hours per Week: 36
• Start Date: 4/27/2026
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience; experience with higher patient ratios required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (proof of licensure or pending process required)
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry monitoring and IV start skills required (Telemetry RN experience preferred)
• Oncology experience highly preferred (Oncology RN or Med/Surg Oncology)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner & Soarian EMR systems preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Minimal to no requested time off (must be included in submission)

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg Oncology unit as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Manage patient assignments with ratios of 1:6 or 1:7
• Perform telemetry monitoring, IV starts, and routine nursing procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive oncology and medical-surgical care
• Accurately document patient assessments and care using Cerner & Soarian electronic medical records
• Participate in weekend coverage and unit staffing as required
• Complete pre-start modules through HealthStream (up to 8 hours, non-billable)
