• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse opportunity)

• End Date: June 22, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15), every other weekend required (night shift nursing)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Charting System: Epic (experience with Epic required)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1460-$1540/week

Job Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nurse)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred (travel nurse)
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications (required at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system required
• Ability to float to similar Med/Surg or Telemetry units as needed
• Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, wound care, IV management, and post-procedure care

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy Med/Surg unit (medical-surgical care)
• Monitor, assess, and accurately document patient conditions using Epic
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform phlebotomy as needed
• Provide care for patients with chest tubes, surgical drains, and feeding tubes
• Respond to rapid response and code situations as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Float to similar units (Med/Surg or Telemetry) within scope of practice
• Collaborate with IV team, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain infection control and isolation precautions
• Participate in minor on-unit procedures and post-procedure nursing care
