Job Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
- Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in an acute care hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Perform thorough assessments, administer medications, and support individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
- Document care accurately and maintain strong clinical communication throughout the shift
- Deliver compassionate bedside care in a fast-paced acute care environment
