Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool - Flemington, NJ

Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse contract is available in Flemington, NJ - 13-week on-site float pool opportunity for an experienced acute care RN. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast-paced acute care environment and is comfortable supporting patients across Med/Surg and telemetry settings. Located in Hunterdon County, Flemington offers a welcoming small-town atmosphere, scenic surroundings, and convenient access to New Jersey and Philadelphia healthcare opportunities.

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2020-$2130
  • Location: Flemington, New Jersey
  • Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool

  • Duration: 13-week contract
  • Schedule: 3 shifts per week
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Work Arrangement: On-site
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holiday

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant acute care setting, preferably Medical-Surgical or Telemetry
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a float pool environment
  • Professional, clean, and neat appearance in any color scrubs

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately and promptly
  • Interpret telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated patient care
  • Float as needed to assigned units based on patient care demands
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain compliance with facility standards, patient safety practices, and documentation requirements
