Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry | 13-Week Contract in Sioux Falls, SD

Travel Nursing Job Details
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
- Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200–$2,320
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- End Date: January 25, 2027
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 12-hour night shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend and Holiday Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday
- Charting System: Epic
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
- Healthcare Setting: Acute-care, on-site hospital unit
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in South Dakota
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing, telemetry nursing, or both
- Ability to provide safe, effective patient care in an acute-care environment
- Strong patient assessment, communication, prioritization, and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Ability to work scheduled night shifts, including every-other-weekend and holiday rotations
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor medical-surgical and telemetry patients, interpret relevant clinical findings, and promptly recognize changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support positive patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with provider orders, nursing standards, and facility policies.
- Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic.
- Practice within the applicable Nurse Practice Act, professional standards, and scope of licensure.
- Support safe transitions of care across the patient care continuum.
