- Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (may float to J1-2, J33, and ED)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 12, 2026 – September 11, 2026)
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), weekends only (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon)
- Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements (Registered Nurse - Telemetry)
- Minimum 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience prior to travel assignments
- Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Tele experience (travel experience accepted)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Permanent Ohio or Compact State license required at time of submission
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
- One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
- Willingness to float to related units as needed (J1-2, J33, ED)
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday
Key Responsibilities (Telemetry Nurse / Med/Surg RN)
- Provide high-quality acute care nursing to adult patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac rhythms and telemetry alarms (ECG, cardiac monitoring)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, advanced practice providers, and ancillary staff — to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
- Float to similar patient-care areas (J1-2, J33, ED) to support staffing needs
- Participate in orientation, competency validation, and ongoing training modules
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols
