  • Shifts: 4x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am – 7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm – 7:30am; rotation may be required to meet operational needs)
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250 (competitive travel RN pay)

Job Requirements (Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse)

  • Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (telemetry nurse or telemetry RN experience)
  • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required
  • Ability to work at least every other holiday during the contract
  • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (cardiac monitoring, ECG interpretation)
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
  • Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting and badging onsite prior to start date

Key Responsibilities (Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry)

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients on the Internal Medicine/Telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (telemetry monitoring)
  • Float to similar units and the Emergency Department as needed to care for the same patient population (flexible travel RN role)
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) and maintain clinical documentation standards
  • Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and required competency assessments (ECG, ACLS refreshers, safeMedicate)
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
