Med/Surg Telemetry RN travel contract in Cleveland, OH — 13-week assignment for experienced telemetry RNs with ACLS and BLS; competitive weekly pay and opportunities to float to ED and other med/surg units.

- Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Cleveland nursing jobs, Ohio RN positions)
- Role / Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit at Main Campus Hospital (may float to J1-2, J33, and ED for similar patient populations)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing assignment)
- Start Date: June 12, 2026
- Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days: 7:00am–7:30pm / Nights: 7:00pm–7:30am); approx. 36 hours/week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250

Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (travel nursing experience accepted)
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
- One supervisory reference in the specialty (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and every other holiday as scheduled
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate competency assessments during orientation
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients; prioritize patient safety and positive outcomes
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry, respond promptly to changes, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and nursing procedures per hospital policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, RRT, pharmacists, case management) to coordinate comprehensive care
- Float to designated units (J1-2, J33, ED) as needed to support patient care and hospital operations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing education, competency validation, and professional development
