- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am); 4 shifts per week
- Hours per Week: 36
- Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry (G91 - Endo/Pulm/ReSCU); may float to J1-2, J33, and ED for similar patient populations
- Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing assignment
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (travel nursing experience accepted)
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand (must be current)
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
- One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the Med/Surg/Telemetry specialty required
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (cardiac telemetry competency required)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Must be able to work at least every other holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients, including cardiac telemetry monitoring and interventions
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to acute changes in patient condition, and initiate timely, evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Float to designated units (J1-2, J33, ED) as needed to support operational needs and continuity of care
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record in accordance with hospital policy
- Participate in orientation, competency assessments, and required learning modules for travel nursing assignments
