Travel Nurse Job Details

  • Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 — Cleveland healthcare, Ohio travel nursing opportunity
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel Contract)
  • Start Date: June 12, 2026
  • End Date: September 11, 2026
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250 (Competitive travel nurse pay)
  • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry (Telemetry RN, cardiac monitoring); may float to similar units as needed
  • Type: Travel Contract / Travel nurse position

Travel Nurse Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (permanent or travel experience accepted)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a current Compact State (license must be in hand at submission)
  • Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
  • One supervisory reference in specialty required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
  • Ability to work at least every other holiday during the contract
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
  • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (telemetry monitoring skills required)
  • Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms; perform accurate rhythm recognition and timely escalation
  • Administer medications safely (per policy), complete patient assessments, and manage acute changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Float to comparable units (J1-2, J33, ED) as needed to support hospital operations
  • Maintain accurate, timely electronic documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Participate in orientation, required training, and competency assessments throughout the assignment
