Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Travel Nurse in Cleveland, OH (44195). Seeking experienced Med/Surg Tele RNs with strong ECG/telemetry skills, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and an active Ohio or Compact RN license for a 13-week travel nursing assignment.

  • Unit / Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry (Unit G90 - Urology). May float to J1-2, J33, and ED for similar patient populations
  • Start Date: June 12, 2026
  • End Date: September 11, 2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks (travel nursing assignment)
  • Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
  • Hours per Week: 36

Required Qualifications (Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse)

  • Minimum 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience prior to travel assignments (recent telemetry experience required; travel nursing experience accepted)
  • Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
  • One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required
  • Ability to work at least every other holiday
  • Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities – Telemetry RN / Med/Surg Nurse

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients, including care on the Urology unit and similar patient populations when floating
  • Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and ECG rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case management, PT/OT, pharmacy) to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
  • Participate in unit- and hospital-level safety, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and facility requirements and policies
