Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Cleveland nursing jobs, Northeast Ohio)
- Setting: Internal Medicine / Telemetry Unit (may float to similar Med/Surg or Telemetry units)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: June 12, 2026
- Shifts: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Weekend Coverage: Weekends only (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse, Telemetry RN, Registered Nurse – RN)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience before travel assignments
- 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- NIHSS certification required
- One supervisory reference in the specialty (telemetry/med-surg)
- Ability to work at least every other holiday
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Internal Medicine / Telemetry unit as a Telemetry RN
- Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond appropriately to telemetry alarms and changes
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, RRTs, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes timely and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Float to similar Med/Surg or Telemetry units as needed to support patient care
- Participate in ongoing education, competency assessments, and cardiac/ECG training
