Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Telemetry | Rosedale, MD
Travel RN opportunity in Rosedale, Maryland: bring your medical-surgical and telemetry skills to a 13-week night-shift assignment caring for adult and geriatric patients.

Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Rosedale, Maryland, near Baltimore
- Setting: Emergency department boarder unit; medical-surgical/telemetry
- Assignment: 13 weeks, December 15, 2026–March 16, 2027
- Shift: Nights, 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710–$1,800
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients
- Typical Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:6
- Weekend Coverage: Required
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent registered nurse experience in medical-surgical/telemetry
- At least one completed travel nursing assignment
- Current Maryland RN license or multistate compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong telemetry assessment and monitoring skills, including familiarity with cardiac rhythms and rapid response procedures
- Electronic health record experience; Cerner experience is preferred
- Ability to float to a comparable level of care as needed
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients boarding in the emergency department
- Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and evaluate responses to treatment
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, recognize changes in patient condition, and promptly escalate concerns
- Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary partners, including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Support continuity of care through clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
