- Position: Travel NICU Registered Nurse
- Setting: Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Location: Fargo, ND
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with every other weekend required
- Assignment Length: 12 weeks
- Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Active RN license with eligibility for North Dakota and Compact licensure
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current NRP certification
- Experience in a Level III NICU strongly preferred
- Ability and willingness to float to PICU and Pediatrics within scope
- Epic experience highly preferred
- Ability to provide skills checklists with submission
- Strong neonatal assessment, critical thinking, and clinical support skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive neonatal nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation
- Support procedures such as intubation, spinal taps, PICC line placement, IV starts, and admissions
- Care for infants requiring ventilatory support, CPAP, nasal cannula, and oxygen therapy
- Administer oral and IV medications, manage umbilical lines, and assist with OG/NG feedings and G-tubes
- Monitor critically ill, intermediate, and growing infants while maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
- Collaborate with the NICU team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes for newborns and families
- Participate in unit orientation, including Epic training and guided support for a smooth transition into this travel nursing role
