- Setting: Main Hospital – Imaging Department (Nuclear Medicine Unit, PET/PET-CT)
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30 (8-hour days)

Job Requirements – Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or equivalent clinical imaging experience (PET experience preferred)
- Certification: NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience with GE nuclear medicine/PET equipment and MEDITECH documentation system preferred
- Ability to meet state licensure or registration requirements for Virginia, if applicable
Responsibilities – PET / Nuclear Medicine Technologist Duties
- Perform all nuclear medicine and PET/PET-CT exams and procedures according to hospital protocols and radiation safety standards
- Operate GE nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare, handle, and document radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately following ALARA principles
- Document patient information, imaging procedures, and results using MEDITECH electronic medical records
- Float between PET and Nuclear Medicine units as workload requires
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and families
