Job Description
Manager of Clinical Services (RN)
Hudson County, NJ
You became a nurse to make a difference. After years at the bedside, you've built the clinical expertise, the instincts, and the leadership presence to do that at a bigger scale — but you're not sure the right opportunity exists.
It does. And it's in Hudson County.
This Is Not a Staff Nurse Job With a Fancy Title
This is a genuine clinical leadership role where your primary tools are your knowledge, your teaching ability, and your relationships — not a med cart and a patient assignment board.
As Manager of Clinical Services, you'll partner with outpatient clinic teams across the Hudson County region to strengthen clinical education, improve quality outcomes, and build the kind of consistent, best-practice care that actually moves the needle for patients long-term.
You'll visit the same clinics repeatedly. You'll know the teams. You'll see your work take root.
What Your Week Actually Looks Like
- Weekday schedule — no nights, no weekends, no rotating shifts
- A mix of planned regional clinic visits and remote work days
- No routine bedside patient assignment
- Ongoing, relationship-based partnerships with clinic leadership and staff
- High visibility with operational and clinical decision-makers
What You'll Own
- Develop, review, and implement clinical education programs tailored to each clinic's actual needs — not generic in-service training
- Assess quality metrics and partner with facilities to close gaps and hit clinical goals
- Translate complex clinical and regulatory content into practical, digestible guidance for adult learners
- Support policy development and champion best practices across your region
- Mentor frontline nurses and serve as a trusted clinical resource across the care continuum
What You Bring
- Active RN license (required)
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- 3+ years of nephrology experience strongly preferred
- Background in clinical education, quality improvement, or policy development
- Ability to communicate technical content clearly to diverse adult learners
- CNN or CDN certification — or willingness to obtain within one year (support provided)
- A leadership style built on trust, consistency, and practical problem-solving
What's On the Table
- Competitive base salary with performance incentives tied to quality outcomes
- Full medical, dental, vision, and Rx coverage
- 401(k) with employer match
- Generous PTO and paid holidays
- Funded professional development and leadership training
- A clear pathway into regional or enterprise-level clinical leadership
This is a role for an experienced RN who is ready to lead — not manage tasks, not float, not pick up extra shifts. If you've been waiting for an opportunity that matches your clinical depth with real leadership authority and a schedule that respects your life outside of work, this is worth a conversation.
