Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Nursery RN Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to assigned newborns using the nursing process
- Complete nursing assessments, care plans, and accurate clinical documentation
- Report pertinent findings and changes in patient condition to the physician
- Perform nursing procedures and interventions safely and efficiently
- Recognize and respond appropriately to anxious, hostile, or escalated behavior when needed
- Identify family learning needs and provide clear, supportive education to parents and caregivers
- Use delegation appropriately and follow annual training guidelines and the nurse practice act
