Resident Care Director (RN) - Assisted Living
Job Description:
- Lead all clinical services, nursing operations, and resident wellness programming
- Oversee assessments, care planning, and Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacy partners, therapy, hospice, and other services
- Direct medication management and infection prevention programs
- Drive Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Ensure compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing clinical team
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgeting
- Partner with leadership/admissions to support appropriate move-ins and exceptional resident outcomes
Requirements:
- Active RN license (required)
- 2+ years RN experience (required)
- 1+ year nursing leadership/management experience (required)
- Working knowledge of assisted living regulations and resident care compliance
- Senior living/assisted living/LTC/memory care/home health experience (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment skills, leadership presence, and communication
