Job Requirements
- Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology required
- At least 1 year of recent OB-GYN experience required; OB experience within the past 2 years preferred
- Comfort providing emergent gynecology coverage and occasional emergent obstetric care
- Ability to manage surgical gynecology cases, including laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures and operative/major cases
- BLS certification required
- Must be available for ongoing locum tenens coverage and able to commit to at least 1 week per month
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for emergent gynecologic needs
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage emergent GYN patients as needed
- Support occasional emergent OB procedures when required
- Perform or assist with surgical gynecology procedures, including laparoscopic and operative cases
- Collaborate with the hospital care team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care
- Respond to callback needs during scheduled pager coverage
