Job Details — Locum Tenens OB/GYN Job
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280
- Location: Paris, Texas (75460) — Texas locum tenens job / Paris, TX OB/GYN
- Coverage: Once per month, 3 consecutive days of 24-hour call (Friday 7am – Monday 7am)
- Facility: Level 3 trauma center with a 6-bed OB/GYN department
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 0-4
- Start Date: June 25, 2026 (ongoing)
- Nearest Airports: DFW and Love Field (convenient for locum travel)
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
Qualifications — OB/GYN Physician Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active, unrestricted MD or DO Physician license (state of practice or ability to obtain TX license)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical OB/GYN experience; locum tenens or per diem experience preferred
- Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience managing low- and high-risk pregnancies
Responsibilities — Obstetrics & Gynecology Duties
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care including routine and complicated deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiple births, VBACs, abruptions)
- Perform surgical gynecology procedures (open, laparoscopic, operative/major cases)
- Manage both low- and high-risk pregnancies and coordinate inpatient care
- Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST/CST/FSE) and perform/interpret OB ultrasounds (preferred)
- Perform office and minor gynecologic procedures (IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP — preferred)
- Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations (preferred)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a trauma center setting
