• Location: Portland, OR 97225 (Portland healthcare / Oregon locum tenens opportunity)
• Setting: Inpatient – 24-hour in-house call (sleep room provided)
• Schedule: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts available (7:30am–7:30pm, 7:30pm–7:30am, or 24-hour in-house call)
• Shifts per Month: 3–5 shifts required
• Start Date: September 1, 2026 (ongoing)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,340 – $7,870
• Patient Encounters per Shift: 15–20
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days

Required Qualifications — OB/GYN Physician

• Active and unrestricted physician license
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• Current DEA registration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Recent case logs from the past 24 months
• Ability to provide high-quality inpatient call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology

Primary Responsibilities — Inpatient OB/GYN Call Coverage

• Provide comprehensive inpatient call coverage for obstetric and gynecologic patients during assigned shifts
• Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies and acute OB/GYN hospital admissions
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST/CST/FSE) and manage intrapartum fetal assessment
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening)
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal deliveries, low forceps, cesarean sections (c-section), breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree perineal lacerations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams, labor and delivery staff, and nursing to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the medical record
