Travel Oncology Registered Nurse – Outpatient Infusion Job in Moab, Utah
Travel to Moab, Utah 84532, and join a patient-centered outpatient oncology team as an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN). Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Utah RN license or compact state RN license
- Current ONS Provider certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Wound care certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and medication/treatment reaction prevention
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality
- Must be reliable, flexible, and comfortable supporting additional duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient oncology nursing care to patients receiving treatment
- Administer infusion therapy and chemotherapy in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient responses and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety, and follow-up care
- Assist with wound care as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized patient care goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical standards at all times
- Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment
- Support a positive patient experience through strong communication and teamwork
