- Setting: 27-chair Oncology & Medical Infusion Center – ambulatory oncology infusion
- Assignment Type: Travel nursing assignment (Travel RN)
- Start Date: May 23, 2026
- End Date: August 21, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM), full-time
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230

Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (MA)
- RN infusion certification required (Infusion Nurse certification)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ambulatory oncology infusion experience, including chemotherapy and hematologic (heme) regimens
- Proficiency with peripheral IV placement and IV therapy techniques
- Experience administering chemotherapy and other medical infusion therapies in an outpatient setting
- Ability to commute by car (site is not directly in downtown Boston)
- Completion of all required onboarding health and background screenings
Responsibilities
- Administer oncology and medical infusion therapies, including chemotherapy, in a busy 27-chair outpatient infusion center
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide immediate intervention and documentation as needed
- Start and manage peripheral IVs and manage central line access as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered oncology care
- Educate patients and families on treatment regimens, side effects, symptom management, and self-care
- Accurately document all care and maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards
