Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) Surgical Technologist / OR Tech experience
• Preferred Experience: Orthopedic surgery experience
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• CPR: BLS (required upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room (OR) and sterile field to support scheduled surgical procedures.
• Scrub in and anticipate surgeon and procedural needs while collaborating with the perioperative team.
• Inspect and verify supplies, equipment, and instruments pulled for cases to ensure readiness and sterility.
• Label medications on the sterile field in accordance with facility policy, Joint Commission standards, and patient safety guidelines.
• Assist with room turnover, including cleanup, restocking, and returning instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique, infection prevention practices, and support patient safety throughout the perioperative workflow.
