Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
- Experience supporting ophthalmology and ENT surgical cases
- Strong assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced perioperative environment
- Comfort supporting patient safety, workflow coordination, and interdisciplinary teamwork
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care throughout the perioperative process in the operating room
- Prepare patients for surgery and support safe transitions through the surgical suite
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members
- Maintain sterile technique and uphold operating room safety standards
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changing clinical needs
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively during handoff and throughout the shift
- Support efficient room turnover and high-quality surgical workflow
