Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Job in Paris, Tennessee

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Shift Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 06:45 - 15:15
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call / Coverage: Night and weekend call rotation; approximately 1-2 days per week on a rotating schedule
- Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks
- Orientation: Provided at the start of assignment
Job Requirements
- Active Tennessee RN license or compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- 1 year of circulator experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic experience within the last 12 months required and must be clearly documented
- Must pass Epic competency exam
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS preferred
- PACU experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with Allscripts charting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical services environment with a variety of procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in the Operating Room
- Circulate a wide range of surgical cases, including orthopedic, vascular, gynecologic, urologic, and general surgery procedures
- Support advanced procedures such as THA/TKA with robotic assistance, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, and AAA repair
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to ensure smooth case flow
- Maintain sterile technique, procedural readiness, and strong attention to detail throughout each case
- Participate in night and weekend call coverage as scheduled
- Accurately document care and maintain compliance with unit protocols and safety standards
- Deliver compassionate care to adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
