- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,270–$2,390

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract: 13 weeks, beginning November 23, 2026
- Openings: 2
- Call Requirement: Required; 30-minute callback expectation when assigned
- Weekends and Holidays: Generally closed, with call coverage as scheduled
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
Operating Room Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Kentucky or a compact state, in hand at the time of submission
- At least 1 year of registered nursing experience
- Recent Operating Room circulating nurse experience
- Previous PACU and Endoscopy experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to participate in required call coverage and meet a 30-minute callback expectation
- Meditech experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to complete required health and safety screening before beginning the assignment
OR Circulator Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient nursing care throughout the perioperative experience
- Serve as the circulating nurse for surgical procedures and coordinate care among the operating room team
- Complete preoperative assessments, verify patient and procedure information, and promote surgical safety
- Maintain accurate documentation and support the appropriate use of supplies, equipment, and medications
- Monitor patients closely and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate members of the care team
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, PACU staff, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Assist with PACU and Endoscopy-related clinical needs as assigned
- Respond to callback needs in accordance with department procedures
- Support infection prevention, sterile technique, regulatory compliance, and a positive patient experience
