Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
- Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania (Lancaster, PA 17602)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week; 10-hour days (7:00am – 5:30pm) or 8-hour days (7:00am – 3:30pm)
- Work Days: Monday – Friday, holidays as needed
- On-Call: Up to 3 on-call shifts per assignment
- Employment Type: Travel, On-site perioperative role
OR Tech Qualifications / Requirements
- Current OR Tech certification required (Surgical Technologist certification acceptable if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience as an OR Tech or Surgical Technologist
- Experience supporting general OR, First Assist, and CVOR cases preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in on-call rotation
- Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative skills; adherence to sterile technique and infection control protocols
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and the operating room team during surgical procedures as a Surgical Technologist / OR Technician
- Prepare operating rooms, ensure necessary instruments and supplies are available, and set up specialty equipment
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow strict infection control and perioperative safety protocols
- Support a variety of surgical specialties including general surgery, cardiovascular/CVOR, and First Assist roles when required
- Participate in on-call coverage and assist with turnover between cases to optimize OR efficiency
