Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care, medical-surgical, orthopedic nursing, or telemetry nursing experience
  • Experience caring for adult inpatients in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Strong patient assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a monitored inpatient setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical inpatients with orthopedic and trauma needs
  • Monitor patients using telemetry and surveillance technology
  • Support zero-harm initiatives, patient safety, and quality care standards
  • Enhance the patient experience through pain management, proactive rounding, and bedside handoff
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive outcomes for neuro-surgical, stroke, and trauma patients
  • Maintain accurate documentation and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
