- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (required)
- Recent experience in a medical/surgical or orthopedic inpatient setting preferred
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and Masimo surveillance preferred
- Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks
- Availability to work 12?hour shifts and commit to the full 13?week assignment
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills for med?surg and trauma populations
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high?quality, safe, and compassionate nursing care to adult med?surg, orthopedic, neuro?surgical, and trauma patients
- Perform orthopedic nursing duties including post?op care, pain management, and mobility/safety interventions
- Monitor patients using Masimo surveillance and telemetry technology and respond to changes in condition
- Prioritize zero?harm initiatives, patient safety, and quality outcomes in all clinical activities
- Enhance the patient experience through proactive rounding, effective pain control, and bedside hand?off communication
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning and smooth transitions of care
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Support an age?friendly, Level II NICHE environment focused on best?practice geriatric and adult care
